Throughout education, the instruction of reading to learners has consistently held great significance. Over time, educators have employed various methods and resources in facilitating proficiency among countless children. Numerous studies also looked into efficiency identifying effectiveness phonemic awareness as a strategy for Grade 2 one schools Division Davao City, Region XI, Philippines, during expanded face-to-face classes. The sample consisted thirty (30) public school elementary learners. researchers collected data through researcher-made assessment tool administered it with proper observance ethical protocols.
